1. Written by janet on May 4, 2011 I too bought a Natuzzi chair, ottoman, and sofa. We noticed the chair started to look like the leather was wearing off. We purchaded the warranty and the store sent someone out to fix it. Three years later, after the warranty expired the chair is totally worn; leather worn off and ripped wear arms and head go. Natuzzi should have replaced it. Leather (real) is suppost to last. our sofa and ottoman looks great...but the chair is ready for the trash!!!
2. Written by judyb on April 7, 2011 Leather can peel for many reasons and needs to be looked at by a leather specialsit who will be able to help. You may have to prove it is a manufacturing fault rather than wear and tear in which case the leather may need to be laboratory tested. Hope this helps Judyb Leather consultant
3. Written by Barbara on March 31, 2011 It sounds like you did not get leather. You should get the furniture evaluated by an expert, and take the results , along with your invoice that states you paid for leather, to your local tv new station for help.
4. Written by Santini on March 25, 2011 Leather doesn't "melt off" or "peel"...NAUGAHYDE does. Naugahyde, in short, is an artificial leather made of knit fabric with a PVC coating. And it will crack and peel. It is a man-made product. If you were expecting real leather then it sounds like you were ripped off big time.
