I purchased a Natuzzi couch just over 2 years ago and the leather is peeling. I purchased the couch because it was the nicest looking couch at our local Sears. I had to talk my wife into buying the couch because she wasn't a leather couch fan but the look of the couch even won her over.

The top coating of the glossy leather is peeling/rubbing off all over the couch (over 20 areas). I paid $2000 for the couch and now I have to cover it with a blanket because I'm embarrassed so show anyone the Natuzzi couch.

We bought a cheap pleather (fake leather) couch for $150 at the same time. The sad part is, that couch still looks like new. 35b38e7

Same peeling problem with my Natuzzi sleep/sectional... The leather specialist I contacted said it's the finish and he believes that Natuzzi was unaware that this type of finish would peel. Doesn't help those of us who paid a LOT of money just a few years ago for a purchase we thought would/should last for a minimum of 20 years - especially since we waited for most of the kids to be out of the house.

Our Natuzzi furniture ranks as one of our worst purchases ever. We've had the peeling leather, the melting leather, blown stitches and broken framing on sofa, love seat and ottoman. It's absolutely disgusting how bad this furniture now looks and the place we bought it from has been of no use. They blame the problems on us, but judging from how common these issues seem to be that doesn't make sense. We will never buy from the dealer or Natuzzi furniture again.

I bought Natutsi fine leather (expensive) from a popular furniture store in Bentonville, AR. I'm single and it doesn't get a lot of use. I've been quite happy, till now...my leather is doing the same thing on my chair. I've told the store about it (I think they quit selling this highly marketed brand some time after I laid out $3G for my set) and they asked me the name which it was purchased under and when I bought it...I don't expect to hear any mor from them actually.
