I bought a Natuzzi loveseat and a recliner from the "Florida Leather Gallery" in Naples, Florida. The recliner's inside lift handle broke off. The chair also has a sizable tear under the pillow arm. The tear is not in any seam.
The repair of the handle will cost me a minimum of $100.00. My receipt states that I have a 5 year guarantee but the store refuses to honor it because they say Natuzzi doesn't guarantee the leather for that amount of time. I was charged $100.00 extra to have that guarantee but they will not honor it.
I will not, nor will I ever, recommend or purchase anything from Natuzzi nor the Florida Leather Gallery.ather They are both rip offs.

Less than 6 months after our purchase, the recliner pull mechanism on one side broke and one of the seams pulled. (we do not have children) We called the store manager who sold us the piece and they did repair it - 3 weeks later! A few months ago, the seam on the opposite side pulled, so I called FLG's service department and they had me contact the repair place directly. (Acosta Leather in Port Charlotte - very good service!) I was told my piece was no longer under warranty so I paid $125 for the repair (which I felt was reasonable) One week later, we moved from South FL to TX, and a few days after we moved, the pull mechanism on the opposite side broke! I sent an email to Natuzzi customer service on 2/8 and have still had no response. After searching the net, I finally found their phone number in NC. They gave me the customer service number (800-262-9063) but I was told there were no repair places in Austin and was given another toll-free number to call (Natl Repair Hotline) And I was told that my warranty was voided when I moved!! The repair hotline put me in touch with a local repair place, who has told me that I have to order the part and then pay them to make the repair!! NEVER BUY ANYTHING MADE BY NATUZZI!! |
