Ditto on the leather peeling! Natuzzi is garbage, and Macy's is no help. I thought the peeling was from my dogs oil in the coat, but turns out that pieces started peeling in areas that we don't even touch. What a garbage product! I tried to contact Macy's and they claim the couch is pure leather. I guess the cow skin can shed like a snake. Who knew. I would never buy another couch from Natuzzi or Macys again. Two companies with poor service. If anyone finds a cure for the peeling or a better leather couch, please let us know. 1288dcd

My email to Natuzzi:

Do you combine leather with man made "leather" in any of your products? I have a 5 yr old recliner where the deck, back and top of the arms appear to have melted or the finish has rubbed off. I had another all leather recliner for 12yrs and it didn't do that. What could be causing this? The "leather is dark brn and whats under it is black. Can it be refinished? I'm a bit disapointed in how this has worn. We didn't even use the chair the 1st 3 years it was in the living room where we rarely go. We moved it into the family room in 2009 for my husband to sit in while recovering from surgery and the back and deck began to show "impressions" from what he was wearing ie: cable knit from his sweater. Weird

Any suggestions??

Thanks, Deb

I have two Natuzzi couches, both are 20 years old. One is still perfectly fine, because it wasn't used as much as the other. The larger one has two seat cushions that need to be replaced. I'm happy with a product that lasts that long, my husband thinks they should last longer.

My foot rest also looks like a cat clawed it and I have never had cats - the mechasim on the foot rest came through the pleather (this is NOT genuine leather) I bought the extended warranty - BIG MISTAKE
