Natuzzi leather recliner deck, back and top of arms is melting or rubbing off in just 2 years. We got it at Macy's!. My husband used the chair in 2009 while recovering from surgery and we noticed the back and deck was impressed with whatever clothes he was wearing:. Over the next year the Leather texture was gone and the surface became tacky to the touch.. the chair is dk brown but whats under it is black". Could this be knaugahide? There is leather on the chair after inspection of the exterior coverings of the back and sides'. But I seriously suspect the deck and inside back are not leather?. waiting for Natuzzi to respond;. We have had the chair 5 years but rarely sat in it in our formal living room,. In 2009 we moved it into the familyroom for my husbands recovery and thats when we noticed the wear problem. 35b3ac8

Our full size couch did the same thing two years ago. My husband was undergoing chemo and would take naps on the couch. He would wake up all sweaty and the finish of the couch would have melted to the back of his shirt. I thought maybe it was something in his medicine, but only the couch ever did it. Not the chairs when he would sit there. I never complained to the company. Maybe I will now.
