I purchased a love seat and couch from a local high end furniture store here in Ann Arbor, MI. After 5 months we recieved the items, the couch was defective, no padding in one arm, the cushions were all of different size and firmness, soft to hard, none of the seams on backs to cushions lined up, a significant slope to the front. I refused the accept the item. The next day I was told by the store manager indeed the item was an embrassment, they would get hold of Natuzzi, a new couch should be orderd. Natuzzi sent a factory authorized repairman who said the couch should be fixed not replaced. After 4 weeks, he has stuffed shreded foam into the arm, his comment he would get the other problems done when he could. I cancelled the order, to give my local store credit, I was given a full refund. Now to make things even more interesting two other folks at my work turns out to have had similar problems!. Both has accepted the items, a repairman was sent to the homes and poor repairs were done, they both paid top dollar for seconds:. I called Natuzzi, when I told the service person crap was sent he was offended and was more focused on not talking "bad" or he would hang up.. I was trying to find the process Natuzzi used, what was was told they did what was financially good for Natuzzi'. When I ask if he felt there was a problem selling seconds or faulty merchandise as new the replay was a repaired item was as good as factory correct!. Basically, I heard him say, take what we give you and be happy!.

After hearing Natuzzi's attitude on a monday, I waited until thursday to give myself a chance to see if anything good would happen, then I cancelled the order|.

Friday I recieved a call from Natuzzi, they were amazed I had canelled the order, again, they were clueless when I ask them about selling seconds or poor factory quality control..

Right now I know of three local problems with Natuzzi, faulty merchandise right out of the factory. 35b27af

we ordered a couch and love seat and waited five months for delivery..the couch and love seat had the same problems as was reported by Don H we were not smart enough to refuse delivery and waited till the next morning to complain..was told they would repair...we refused and wanted our money back..we ended up paying $900.for restocking fee..natuzzi rep here in phoenix was not at all helpful,,what can you due?????
