Bad quality and nonexistent customer service

Our experience with Natuzzi Edition has been a nightmare. We ordered a 3-seat sofa with 2 reclining seats.

The sofa arrived with many Issues (e.g, frame misalignments, leather defects, armrests not properly filled (i.e., the leather was sagging in the middle)). We were going to reject the delivery, but were assured by the salesperson that everything is fixable and will be addressed. That is when the nightmare began. After sending a tech representative , the customer service informed us that the sofa met Natuzzi standards.

They were willing to fix the armrest and nothing else. After waiting a month, the sofa was picked up for repairs, but has not been worked on for almost another month. When the sofa was redelivered , we realized that the armrests were unevenly filled and nothing else was fixed. In the process , the leather was scratched.

Then the store sent a new tech, who managed to even out the armrest. So we now are stuck with the defective sofa. Natuzzi has a non-existing customer service, they never return phone calls or emails, basically non-responsive to customer complaints.

No compensation was offered. We do not recommend buying anything from Natuzzi Edition.

Natuzzi editions has shown they have NO regard for their customer

I placed an order for a dining table (not a custom order) in July with a delivery date before Thanksgiving. It arrived in January BROKEN. It is now mid February. The table is paid in full - for the January delivery. I have been promised a replacement - but it is on back order. What am I supposed to do. Threaten to not want a table for which there is no refund. Ask for compensation. Threaten them with a lawyer. I cannot express the disappointment, anger and utter lack of understanding from Natuzzi. Please think before committing your decor ideas and money with this company.

CORES needed back and seats internal support systems failed causing a sinking seat deck and back On NATUZZI Editions Leather 3 seater powered sectional recliner see photos

We have had NATUZZI sofas for many years they held shape fine

On July 26 2020 we purchased a NATUZZI Editions Leather 3 seater powered sectional recliner from ARIZONA LEATHER Scottsdale AZ. Invoice attached

Delivered Aug 7, 2020 prior to our move in.

We could easily see that the sectional was not correct appeared to sections not part of the full set.

We called Arizona Leather to report the issue along with photos but they insisted NO returns BUT they would send a service guy out to evaluate. This guy pounded, beat the leather, forced alignment, heated with hairdryer smashed the foam filling. Still Did not look like the floor model.

Photo of sectional used only by 2 adults in house, not heavy people, sit on sectional 4 hours in evening to watch movies.

NATUZZI Editions internal support systems failed

Technician's Report: Upon visit found sofa has collapsing seat cores and backrest cores.

The sofa is structural sound and wood/straps are intact and tight. Customer would need to order from the Furniture Store\Manufacture a New Seat Cores and Back Rest Cores, once customer has all Cores onsite I can return and do the installation.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, THE WORST CUSTOMER CARE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.

Being influenced by the 4.8 out of 5 Trustpilot rating, we placed an order paying a deposit. The next day I noticed from the indecipherable part codes on the hand written Order Form that the wrong sofa was on it.

Natuzzi wanted hundreds more to get what we asked the salesperson to order so I cancelled the order when they refused to refund our deposit. I raised a Section 75 claim against them using our card provider who upheld our case and refunded our deposit.

Dont let this manipulated TrustPilot rating influence your decision. As part of the pre-sales process, Natuzzi makes a big thing about this rating to instil confidence in prospective clients that they are the right company to place their order with.

What happens is immediately after the order is signed, the salesperson asks, if you are happy with the service Ive offered, please post a review while I attend to paperwork, asking you to scan a Trustpilot QR code on a card.

Youll see the 5 star ratings are very short and are obviously written in store, just after placing the order, when they will of course be happy with the service provided.

Beware Natuzzi is expensive junk

We bought a Natuzzi and it is very uncomfortable to sit on after only a year. The high-cost sectional still looks relatively new but the seat cushions are worn after relatively little use.

The sectional seats five people and with only two adults in our home we thought the sectional would last a long time.

Both adults

are relatively small (short and low weight). Unfortunately, the sectional has only lasted approximately one year and thats after it took nearly as long for delivery.

We do not recommend Natuzzi unless you have an extra $7,000 to $15,000 that you want to throw away with no perceived benefit.

I recommend Best Home Furnishings since I have owned furniture by this manufacturer and can say it is good quality, not expensive, and lasts a long time.

User's recommendation: You can buy Best Home Furnishings for a fraction of the price. We have bought a significant amount of furniture over the years and conducted a lot of research. Our experience has proven that Best Home Furnishings makes quality furniture and we would have bought from them again but there weren’t any stores around the area where we moved when we purchased the Natuzzi

Leather on 2 pieces developed large yellow spots

Purchased a $10,000 sectional 9-2021. Was delivered 3-2022 due to covid.

Several months later it looked like yellow spots were on just the 2 ends. Thought maybe it was shadows. Started to look worse and then determined it was discoloring on both ends. Went to furniture store in Surprise AZ and they sold us a cleaning kit and contacted service.

It is just me and my husband and we had leather for many years so we're surprised to see this happening based on what we were told was the best you vould buy. Service came out, tried to clean. Said we must be doing something and asked if we were on high blood pressure meds- NO

Then another company came put to look at it and said it must be environmental. We asked what does that mean and was told its when they have no answer!

Furniture store is willing to replace end piece if I paid half gor a new one. That's another 1200! Couch looks horrible with spots which are only on end pieces and we sit on all sections. We put covers on the 2 sections to hide it but they are getting larger.

We feel since it is on both end pieces that something happened in the manufacturing phase since it was during covid maybe wrong chemical in treating leather?? Whatever the reason very disappointed as this was to be our last couch being on a fixed income. I can't even look at it without stressing out. Shame on customer service for their treatment.

Will make sure our whole community knows to never purchase unless this is made right.

Thanks for blaming customer . Enviromental???

I have tried to contact this company on numerous occasions and have never received a reply or even an acknowledgement. I needed a replacement part for a sofa which was at the upholsterers who were waiting for that part. I don't think I've ever encountered a company which is so difficult to contact. In todays competetive world I would have thought that paying arttention to your customer services section would have been paramount.

Ordered our furniture in July and was told October 31 as drop dead date for delivery. Probably earlier. Now after months of bugging them they say maybe mid December. NOT acceptable. They will not refund our money even though production on our furniture has not begun. NEVER deal with them again.RRun

I am a designer but ordered a Natuzzi Power Recliner 5+ years ago from Matter Brothers in Florida. Ball bearings fell out and I am trying to order a shock cylinder replacement part. Their customer service/repair is terrible. Want to charge for trip before ordering part. They also said it will take 3-4 to hear from YOU what the price for the part is. One more update about this sorry story of our NATUZZI sofa and seat from EL CORTE INGLES, ALICANTE. After my repeated complain, I received a phone call from EL CORTE INGLES, asking me to send my pictures to them.

After our last review I will give a update on our sofa and chair, we bought from El Corte Ingles in Alicante (Spain)
After a long wait we received a visit from a technician who came with some more foam for the sofa. He stuffed this material inside the sofa, which made the appearance
look better indeed.

But not for long. After 3 month it looks the same as before. We are so careful with the furniture that it becomes ridicules. Today I noticed 2 small holes in the leather of the armrests of the reclining chair.

They are very small until now, but we fear that more will appear . What kind of rubbish did we buy for 6500 euros! The Natuzzi customer service is dreadful , they must be overwhelmed with complains. And El Corte Ingles in Alicante is hiding behind the fact that it is not them who made the furniture and that they will pass it on to Natuzzi.

What a disappointment . THE PICTURES ARE AFTER REPAIR!

Our sofa and seat from NATUZZI, which was delivered october 2021, is in a bad state ... again.

After much complaining we finally in 2022 got a visit for the repair of the foam. But know the leather on the reclining seat is starting to get two small cracks, which open. Until now they are very small, but we are afraid that they will get bigger. We dont understand, we are so careful with the furniture that is is getting to be ridicules.

Also the foam is loosing its form (again) We choose to spend a lot of money for a good quality piece of furniture and what we got was worse then if we had bought the cheapest piece on the market.

We bought at El Corte Ingles in Alicante, a well known store for good products. They should toss this brand out of the store!

Faults on both sofas: Creaking noises (rectified by technician on last visit). Loud fabric rubbing noises when operating the recliner on both sides. Unable to be repaired according to technicians. Numerous technician visits, 32 emails sent by me (many without reply from Natuzzi) and a visit from the Area Manager. As a last resort I have written to Roger Mynett, Director, Natuzzi UK Retail Ltd and copied Annunziata Natuzzi, Natuzzi Director based in Italy stating that, to avoid taking court action to recover full cost, I am willing to use Alternative Dispute Resolution to resolve this problem.

The arm rest broke when getting out of recliner. Been dealing with customer service for 3 months. Finally sent a guy to look at it and he saw what I saw which was frame was not built out of wood but particle board and it was just falling apart in our hands. I have called and emailed so many times that I have had it! I am calling someone who will help with this. Honestly for what this cost this should not be made with *** material and customer service should get this taken care of. I will never buy anything from them ever!!!
